Article 18 of Federal Decree-Law 45/2021 restricts automated decisions that carry legal or similarly significant effect, which covers most agent behaviour. We design for a human decision point, a recorded rationale and an exportable audit trail. Full PDPL compliance is required by 1 January 2027.
